The Annual Downtown Fine Art Show is a Juried event. It takes place in the summer at the Riverfront Crossing by Fetta Specialty Pizza at 118 St. Ann Street in downtown Owensboro.

Up to 40 artists will set up their displays of paintings, sculpture, mixed media, mosaics, pottery, jewelry, basketry and photography.

Artists compete for awards, which are presented as soon as judging is complete.

Children will be encouraged to create art on wood, rocks and t-shirts, at a special booth made possible by volunteers from Girls, Inc. There will be live music, and of course, Fetta will be open and serving all of their delicious menu items.

Participating artists’ works will be displayed at Independence Bank, 2425 Frederica St., until the end of July.
