We come together to learn and grow from programs and demonstrations, and each other, to exhibit and sell our work, to stay current with local art events and to serve our community.

"OAG Annual Juried Membership Exhibition" is on display at Kentucky Wesleyan College at the Ralph Gallery of Fine Arts. The show opened Sept. 9th and the show closes on Friday, Oct. 6th. Pick up items between 10 a.m. and noon that day.

Join OVAL in honoring Jule for her work in the Arts through her leadership of The Ohio Valley Art League for the past 25 years as well as help celebrate her own work. Working Together - Evansville Museum of Art. October 15-December 3, 2017. The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana and the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, & Science are proud to present Working Together, an annual exhibit that is in its 24th year! The exhibit will run from October 15 through December 3 at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science. An opening reception for the exhibit will occur on Thursday, October 19 from 6-8 pm at the museum. Working Together is a collaborative exhibit between the two arts-based organizations and is in memory of Virginia B. Lowenthal. Prospectuses can be downloaded on the arts Council website, ARTSWIN & are also available at the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, located at 318 Main Street in downtown Evansville.Working Together is a juried exhibition. This year’s juror is Susan Baley, Executive Director of the Swope Art Museum in Terre Haute.

Join our museum curator in an engaging program to learn about caring for paintings, prints, vintage clothing, and textiles. We’ll focus on storage and safe handling methods as well as preventive measures to safeguard your family heirlooms for future generations. If you have an item in mind, bring it with you for specific tips for long-term conservation of your object.
